Characteristics:A light yellowish flowing powder, easily deteriorated when contact to light or air. Freely solve in ethanol, sulfuric ether, chloroform and acetone, and slightly solve in plant oil, but hardly solve in water.

Applications:Vitamin D3( Feed Grade) Cholecalciferol reduces calcium loss from bones and increases the production of normal healthy bone in patients with osteoporosis. The vitamin that mediates intestinal calcium absorbtion, bone calcium metabolism and probably, muscle activity. Occurs in and is isolated from fish liver oils. Vitamin D acts through a receptor that is a member of the ligand-dependent transcription.
